Aaron FX offers our clients the option of trading forex either through the Internet or over the telephone. Telephone orders can be placed with our forex dealing desk 24 hours a day, 5 days a week during trading hours, from Sunday at 5:00 PM CST to Friday at 4:00 PM CST.
Forex Dealing:
State your trading interest. Always be sure to include the number of units (or the dollar amount) and the forex currency pair you are interested in.
Forex Example: ” I would like a price in $300,000 (3 units) of dollar Yen.”
You will receive from the forex dealer a 2-way price quote consisting of the tightest possible fx spread under normal forex market conditions allow at that given moment.
Forex Example: “125.23-28” (the first number being the bid, the second number is the offer.)
State your currency trade.
Forex Example:
"At 125.28, I sell 3 units($300,000 USD/JPY)" or
"At 125.23, I buy 3 units ( $300,000 USD/JJPY)"
Remember: A price given to you is the forex dealing price at that moment in time; it is not intended to be held for longer than the next price change in the market. Forex dealer etiquette requires you to pass ("nothing done") or "ask again" after a few moments have passed. You will then get a new forex dealing price.
